The Shoppe is a dream come true for owners Michael and Huston. It all started with the purchase of Birds Nest Farm in 2004. Birds Nest Farm was originally built in 1842 and has served numerous functions and has changed hands several times over the years.
Since purchasing the farm, they have spent many years attending antique auctions and shows, acquiring antiques and time period furniture to completely restore the farmhouse to its original state. During this time, plans were made to open a storefront in downtown Bedford, Pa. Today Birds Nest Farm is once again beautiful and through all of the hard work and planning, the Shoppe was born as well. Located at 113 a S. Richard Street, in historic Bedford, Pa, the Shoppe welcomes visitors. Whether you're just browsing or looking for something specific, something for everyone can be found in this little shop. Birds Nest Farm, The Shoppe is located in, what was once, a little country store. Built in 1878, current owners Michael S. and Huston G. have completely restored the interior to match the period in which it was built.
You are cordially invited to take a stroll through history. The Shoppe is full of antiques and novelties from yesteryear. With new items coming weekly, you can always count on great finds. Please stop by anytime during normal business hours.
